    寧波東力傳動設備股份有限公司創(chuàng)立于1998年，現(xiàn)有總資產(chǎn)130000萬元，注冊資本18000萬元，生產(chǎn)基地分設于寧波國家高新區(qū)、江北工業(yè)園區(qū)、江東仇畢工業(yè)區(qū)，總占地面積26萬m2，擁有現(xiàn)代化標準廠房18萬m2，現(xiàn)有員工1300余人。
       公司以工業(yè)齒輪和工業(yè)電機為核心業(yè)務，以大功率重載齒輪箱、模塊化減速器、模塊化減速電機、風力發(fā)電齒輪箱和變頻、輥道、冶金電機為核心發(fā)展產(chǎn)品，在齒輪行業(yè)中占有重要的地位。
       2007年8月，公司首次公開發(fā)行股票成功（證券簡稱：東力傳動，證券代碼：002164），成為齒輪行業(yè)最早在A股上市的企業(yè)。
